Nuance Multimedia Australia Pty Ltd is an independent publisher devoted to producing publications tailored to customers' specific needs. We bring together a variety of skills in a publishing operation that manages all functions from editorial content and design to advertising sales, printing, distribution and retail sales. Nuance uses both permanent staff and contracted external specialists to achieve the most effective magazines, books and annual reports, specialised media representation and editorial services.

Nuance works closely with clients to develop a thorough understanding of individual marketing and communication needs and objectives. We then work collaboratively with the client to produce a customised strategy specifically for the individual circumstance.

Nuance was formed by Jim Clarke, a former chief executive of BRW Media. He has broad publishing experience gained in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Hong Kong. Jim was a journalist and senior executive with the Fairfax Group over two decades and was chief executive of BRW Media from 1995 to 1999. He won a Walkley Award for outstanding journalism and a High Commendation in the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year Award before moving to magazines.
