Magazines are a powerful communication medium. Custom magazines, in particular, have a proven track record in winning loyalty, at corporate, association and individual levels. Custom magazines typically are developed from a quality data or client base and are the most effective instrument to develop client relationships.

Australians are among the world's most avid magazine buyers. They buy about 320 million copies a year. There are an estimated 4,500 magazine titles in Australia. Roy Morgan Research reveals 84% of men and 89% of women read at least one magazine.

Magazines consistently rate very highly in local and international surveys of trust in media. Both the American Trust in Advertising and Nielsen’s Trust and Advertising Global report position print advertising as winning higher levels of trust than the internet, television and radio.

Readers develop an intimacy with magazines that they do not share with other media and, although the circulations of mass consumers are falling, readership of niche magazines is increasing.
